Description
In an ongoing series focusing on spasticity, learn from expert physicians as they discuss how to work with other medical specialists to ensure that patients receive the care they need. There will be presentations and plenty of time for questions.
Learning Objectives
After completing this live activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the potential roles and benefits of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, pain management, plastic surgery, and other specialties in the comprehensive management of patients with spasticity.
- Identify spasticity case presentations and examples that may benefit from multi-disciplinary evaluation beyond routine spasticity management.
- Develop practical strategies for building referral pathways and integrating multi-disciplinary collaboration into a spasticity management practice.
