2018 SAE-P: Introduction to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

This learning activity meets the self-assessment criteria of the Part II: Life-long Learning and Self-Assessment component as part of the ABPM&R's Maintenance of Certification©program.


Learning Objectives
After completing this enduring material, the participant should be able to:

  • interpret ultrasound images and understand the terminology associated with the images
  • understand the manual skills needed for transducer use during ultrasound imaging
  • recognize hip, elbow, and foot and ankle anatomy in ultrasound images
