2024 Spasticity Management 101
Description

This knowledge-based online course consists of 16 short presentations developed by experts in the field of spasticity management. Areas covered include:

  • Pathophysiology and Anatomy
  • Assessments
  • Treatment Modalities
  • Special and Procedural Considerations
  • Practice Management

The presentations can be viewed at one's own pace. Upon viewing all presentations, participants will need to complete an evaluation, which includes a reflection on learning, in order to claim credit.


Learning Objectives
After completing this enduring material, the participant should be able to:

  • Review the pathophysiology of spasticity and associated common anatomical patterns among various populations
  • Understand how to provide a complete spasticity assessment
  • Identify the various treatment options for spasticity 
  • Recognize key components for incorporating spasticity management into your practice
