This program is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills through three live virtual discussions with experts in the field of PM&R, complemented by a series of engaging online lectures. The program will cover several key topics that are crucial for effective medical directors, including leading change, understanding roles and governing structures, organizational behavior, utilization management, and strategies for success.

The target audience for this program is those who are aspiring to become medical directors and those who have newly become medical directors. Through a series of three virtual discussions and online lecture modules, faculty will share their experiences with becoming a medical director and discuss real-time topics, which include changes in CMS/Medicare requirements, emerging issues facing IRFs/SNFs, funding, etc.

The first live virtual discussion will take place on Wednesday, August 13, at 7 pm Central Time, followed by the second discussion taking place on Wednesday, September 17, at 7 pm CT, and the last one taking place on Wednesday, November 12, at 7 pm CT. Upon registering for the program, you will have the ability to download a meeting request with your specific Zoom link.
