This program is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills through three live virtual discussions with experts in the field of PM&R, complemented by a series of engaging online lectures. The program will cover several key topics that are crucial for effective medical directors, including leading change, understanding roles and governing structures, organizational behavior, utilization management, and strategies for success.

The target audience for this program are those that are aspiring to become medical directors and those that have newly become medical directors. Through a series of three virtual dicussions and onine lecture modules, faculty will share their experiences with becoming a medical director and discuss real-time topics, which include change in CMS/Medicare requirements, emerging issues facing IRFs/SNFs, funding, etc.

The first live virtual discussion will take place on Wednesday, August 13 at 7pm Central Time, followed but the second dicussion taking pace on Wednesday, October 16 at 7pm CT, and the last one taking place on Wednesday, November 12 at 7pm CT. Upon registering for the program, you will have the ablity to download a meeting request with your specific Zoom link.
