Description

Among other requirements, the No Surprises Act requires the provision of good faith estimates (GFEs) for uninsured and self-pay patients.  This webinar will discuss statutory and regulatory requirements for furnishing such GFEs, including when GFEs must be furnished and what information they must include. It will also provide information on a new Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution process that is available for patients who are billed substantially in excess of the expected charges on the GFE. The webinar will also offer a preview of the impending regulations for the No Surprises Act requirement to provide GFEs to all commercially insured patients for scheduled services and upon request.
