Description

The slide presentation is accompanied by a detailed lecture on the topic from an expert within that area. You may take as much time as you wish to review the information presented. You will be required to take a post-test. A minimum passing score of 70% is required to claim CME for this course. You will have unlimited attempts to achieve a passing score. After you pass the post-test you will be taken to a screen with a PDF containing the correct answer, commentary, and/or references for each question.

Learning Objectives
After completing this enduring material, the participant should be able to:

  • Evaluate and document the critical elements on examination patients with amputation
  • Describe ideal levels of amputation in the upper and lower limb for maximum functional outcome
  • Prescribe appropriate prosthetic componentry for upper and lower limb amputation
  • Identify common conditions and disorders requiring or benefitting from orthotic management
  • Prescribe appropriate orthotic designs and devices for neurologic, vascular, rheumatoid, and skeletal conditions patients
