Description
This May community session will discuss the main themes of tech solutions for the medical and rehabilitation needs of the aging population. The discussion will cover monitoring, supportive technology, care navigation services, tools for cognitive decline, and lifestyle medicine. Panelists will discuss the challenges of tech solutions to be implemented in the consumer space and how rehab specialists will collaborate meaningfully with multiple sectors.

Learning Objectives
Learning Objective 1: Acquire the knowledge of technology development including monitoring, supportive technology, care navigation services, tools for cognitive decline, and lifestyle modifications for aging population.
Learning Objective 2: Construct the overall scope of technology and digital health available now and in near future from wearables, SMART homes, ambient monitoring systems, and care coordination.
Learning Objective 3: Delineate the importance of equity principles and cultural competency in developing and implementing technology based solutions in health care including rehabilitation care.
