Join us for an enlightening virtual session hosted by the AAPM&R for "Member May," focusing on a wide variety of key topics relevant to the neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine community. This event will feature a series of expert-led presentations, an engaging panel discussion, and an interactive audience Q&A session, designed to explore the forefront of research and clinical practice in this dynamic field. Dr. Peter Grant, with his extensive background in electrodiagnostic medicine and contributions to the field's standards and ethics, will delve into the qualifications necessary to perform electrodiagnostic studies. Dr. Tae Chung will share his insights on POTS/dysautonomia, drawing from his leadership and research roles at the Johns Hopkins POTS Program, and discuss the latest advancements in understanding and managing this complex condition. Dr. Adenike Adewuyi will explore the significant motor unit changes following spinal cord injury, discussing the implications these changes have for reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation, informed by her research at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Northwestern University. This session promises to be an invaluable opportunity for professionals in the field to gain knowledge, share experiences, and discuss the latest developments in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine. Learning Objectives
