It is an exciting time in pediatric physiatry. In this session, we will focus on different innovations to cultivate discussion and move the field forward.

The field of pediatric neuromuscular medicine is rapidly changing with advances in care and improved access to treatment options. We will explore considerations for this population as it relates to inpatient rehabilitation programming, with intentional and innovative approaches to care.

Technology is rapidly changing, including the ability to impact patient care through the electronic medical record. We will explore the interconnectivity of quality improvement and clinical informatics by analyzing examples of high effort, high impact interventions.

Finally, we will interface with members of the AAPMR BOLD Steering Committee for an update on how the Academy is helping push the agenda of our Community forward.
