Member May 2026: Live, Laugh, Love: Balancing Life as an Inpatient Rehabilitation Physiatrist
Description

Description

This session seeks to educate physiatrists about different ways to balance the expectations of being an inpatient rehabilitation physician with life, children, and marriage. This amazing panel of physiatrists will discuss the real-life struggles of juggling multiple responsibilities. This is an important session for several reasons. First, inpatient rehabilitation is a field where new physiatrists are needed. Too often early career physiatrists feel that the demands of inpatient medicine may be daunting both from a career as well as non-career perspective. This presentation will help to address these concerns.  Secondly, technology and changing regulatory demands place different burdens on physiatrists over time. This panel is uniquely positioned to address the changes that have occurred during different stages of career development.
