Treating Low Back Pain: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice
Description
Your Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Committee and Registry Steering Committee invite you to learn about AAPM&R’s efforts to inform best practices, guide research, and improve patient care for individuals with low back pain. This webinar will provide an overview of the CPG Committee’s Review of the recent North American Spine Society (NASS) Evidence-Based Clinical Guidelines for Multidisciplinary Spine Care: Diagnosis and Treatment of Low Back Pain. It will also provide an overview of the AAPM&R Registry with an interactive demonstration of the Patient-Report Outcomes (PROs) portal for low back pain. AAPM&R members participating in this webinar will have a greater understanding of current evidence-based recommendations for functional recovery from low back pain and how AAPM&R is collecting the data to demonstrate the value of physiatry and the quality of the treatments you provide to your patients.
