This program is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills through three live virtual discussions with experts in the field of PM&R, complemented by a series of engaging online lectures. The program will cover several key topics that are crucial for effective medical directors, including leading change, understanding roles and governing structures, organizational behavior, utilization management, and strategies for success.
Through a series of three virtual discussions and online lecture modules, faculty will share their experiences with becoming a medical director and discuss real-time topics, which include changes in CMS/Medicare requirements, emerging issues facing IRFs/SNFs, funding, etc.
The target audience for this program is those who are aspiring to become medical directors and those who have newly become medical directors.
There are three live virtual discussions which will take place on:

- October 14, 2026, from 7-8:15 pm CDT
