Overview
PM&R Department Chairs are a unique group of leaders navigating a rapidly evolving post-COVID world in which Physiatry is facing challenges from all sides. This invite-only summit is intended to provide a private, collegial venue for Department Chairs to gather and learn through sharing and collaboration. Discuss the challenges you are facing, gain strategies you can take back to your own institution, and explore opportunities to work together in leading the specialty forward. This summit will be casual, productive, and offer perspective and support you won’t find anywhere else.
Target Audience
This summit is an invite-only event for PM&R Department Chairs and/or their equivalent PM&R Division Chiefs that report up through another department.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this summit, participants will be able to identify strategies to:
- Demonstrate the value of PM&R to their health system
- Navigate and respond to current challenges in PM&R
- Hone skills in managing conflict and difficult conversations
- Prioritize well-being for personal and team health
- Work together to move the specialty forward as PM&R leaders
