The Certification Exam Prep Qbank
is not endorsed by the ABPMR nor was the ABPMR involved in the creation of this study tool.

The Certification Exam Prep Qbank is intended to assist physiatrists to prepare for the ABPMR Primary certification and MOC recertification exams.

Originally published in 2015, content has been reviewed by members of the Academy's Self-Assessment Committee to ensure questions are clinically relevant, with updated references when possible. Per item-writing best practices, questions were edited to make them clearer to ensure a quality user experience. The format of the resource as a self-assessment and study tool, as well its teaching points, are consistent with the 2015 version.

This learning activity meets the criteria for the Part II: Life-long Learning and Self-Assessment component of the ABPM&R's Maintenance of Certification© program. Each module has its own assessment and related CME. You can skip questions and return to them later, however, you must answer all questions to submit the assessment for grading.You can claim CME after completing the evaluation associated with each individual module.

Learning Objectives
After completing this enduring material, the participant should be able to:

  • Recognize appropriate clinical management strategies and apply these techniques and knowledge into their practice.
  • Assess the current state of their knowledge specific to the activity topic and identify knowledge gaps in which additional study is needed.
  • Develop a strategy to closing the identified knowledge gaps using resources provided as references within the activity.

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) designates this enduring material for a maximum of 28.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits®. Physicians should claim only the credit commensuratewith the extent of their participation in the activity.
