Description

In this cancer rehabilitation community session, we will cover high yield topics of steroid myopathy and muscle wasting in pediatric, adult, and geriatric cancer patients. Session will consist of three presentations followed by a Q&A. 

Learning Objectives

• Improve attendees' knowledge regarding steroid myopathy and muscle wasting
• Recognize the consequences of these conditions for the cancer treatment outcomes
• Provide overview of diagnostic tools and treatment strategies
• Increase awareness of those conditions and promote collegial discussion.
